Restorative Yoga is a restful way of practising yoga, using props. This nourishing candlelit class focuses on gently stretching, releasing, opening and balancing the mindbody through supported poses using blankets, cushions and bolsters. As the body rests in the restorative postures, the nervous system switches to calmness and a deep inner healing mode. It is a Yoga of ‘Being’, rather than a Yoga of ‘Doing’.
Your workshop will close with Yoga Nidra a style of guided mediation which truly resets and restores the mindbody. This workshops is an ideal way to defrag from a busy life, encouraging restful sleep, destressing the mind and refreshing the body.
